BetaShares and Legg Mason launch Australia’s first Fixed Income Active ETF – ASX: BNDS
We’re pleased to announce the launch of our third active ETF with Legg Mason, and Australia’s first Fixed Income Active ETF – the BetaShares Legg Mason Australian Bond Fund (managed fund) available on the ASX under the code “BNDS”.
BNDS – managed by multi award-winning Legg Mason affiliate, Western Asset – aims to provide efficient access to an actively managed and broadly diversified portfolio of high quality Australian fixed income securities.
How to use BNDS in a portfolio:
BNDS can be used to implement a variety of investment strategies. For example:
- A core component of a fixed income allocation providing attractive income, relatively high levels of capital stability and diversification benefits to
portfolios - A complement to a core cash/ term deposit allocation providing a regular income stream without the need to lock up capital
