The Aussie core, made simple

You don’t need the perfect strategy. Historically, spending more time in the market has tended to be more important than trying to time it. That’s why getting started sooner could be the most important move.

200 of the largest ASX companies

Banking, mining, retail, healthcare and more. Own the businesses that drive our economy in a single ETF.

Ultra-low cost

0.04% p.a. management fee. More of every dollar you invest stays compounding for you, not paid away in fees.

Franked income

Quarterly distributions, typically with attached franking credits, which can deliver a tax benefit.

Other costs, such as transaction costs, may apply. Refer to the PDS for more information. Not all Australian investors will be able to receive the full value of franking credits.

Still have questions?

What is A200?

A200 is the Betashares Australia 200 ETF. It aims to track the performance of an index comprising 200 of the largest companies by market capitalisation listed on the ASX, before fees and expenses.

How can I invest in A200?

You can buy and sell units in A200 (and any other ASX-traded ETF) during trading hours (generally Monday to Friday between 10:00am and 4:00pm AEST) through a stockbroker, financial adviser or online broker, the same way you would buy and sell individual stocks. You can also invest in any ASX-traded ETF via Betashares Direct with $0 brokerage.

Refer to the PDS for information on interest retained by Betashares on cash balances.

Why use A200 as an Australian shares exposure?

A200 gives you broad exposure to Australian shares in one ETF. Instead of trying to pick individual Australian companies, A200 provides access to 200 of the largest companies listed on the ASX through a single trade.

Why consider pairing A200 with BGBL?

A200 provides Australian shares exposure. BGBL provides global developed market shares exposure, excluding Australia.

Together, they can be considered by investors for a two-ETF diversified share portfolio core: one ETF for Australia, and one ETF for global developed markets.

Can I speak to someone if I need help?

Yes. Our support team is based in Australia and made up of real people who understand investing and our products. If you have a question, you can speak to someone directly — typically within a couple of minutes.

You can contact the support team Mon-Fri 9am – 5pm AEST via phone (1300 487 577) or by sending an email to [email protected].

It’s not about timing the market. It’s about time in the market.
