Why pair A200 and BGBL?
A200 provides exposure to 200 of the largest companies listed on the ASX. BGBL provides exposure to approximately 1,300 companies across global developed markets, excluding Australia.
Together, they can be considered by investors for a two-ETF diversified share portfolio core across Australia and global developed markets.
What is the benefit of using two ETFs instead of one?
Using A200 and BGBL together can give investors more control over their share portfolio mix.
Investors decide how much of their portfolio is allocated to Australian shares through A200, and how much is allocated to global developed market shares through BGBL.
How much should I put in A200 versus BGBL?
That depends on your personal objectives, financial situation, needs and risk tolerance.
Some investors prefer a stronger Australian shares allocation. Others prefer greater global developed markets exposure. The benefit of using A200 and BGBL together is that an investor can choose the split and adjust it over time depending on their circumstances and investment objective.
