The Betashares Australian Quality ETF (AQLT) is now available.
AQLT offers investors access to a diversified portfolio of 40 ‘quality’ listed companies including CSL, Macquarie Group, Woolworths Group and Wesfarmers, selected based on:
- High return on equity
- Low leverage
- Relative earnings stability
The quality score methodology used by the Fund aims to produce superior long-term performance compared to benchmark Australian equities indices.
In addition, AQLT is underweight the mining sector and overweight growth sectors such as technology and consumer discretionary, relative to the S&P/ASX 200 Index, delivering potential diversification benefits for investors.
Subject to regulatory approvals, AQLT is expected to start trading on the ASX at the start of April 2022
