Energy Transition Metals ETF
- International shares
Invest in metal producers powering the clean energy transition.
Overview
Fund objective
XMET aims to track the performance of an index (before fees and expenses) that provides exposure to a portfolio of global companies in the Energy Transition Metals (‘ETMs’) industry. ETMs are raw materials that are essential to the transition to a less carbon-intensive economy.
XMET provides exposure to global producers of copper, lithium, nickel, cobalt, graphite, manganese, silver and rare earth elements.
Benefits of XMET
-
Long-term growth potential
The transition from fossil fuels to clean energy solutions is driving growth in a range of disruptive products and processes such as renewable energy generation, battery storage solutions, and electric vehicles, all of which are critically dependent on the select group of ETMs that XMET provides exposure to.
-
Exposure to a range of ETMs
XMET provides global exposure to ‘pure play’ producers1 of a range of ETMs as well as other companies involved in the recycling and processing of these raw materials.
-
Favourable supply/demand dynamics
Producers of ETMs stand to benefit from a projected increase in demand for ETMs coupled with constrained global supply.
1 ‘Pure play’ companies are considered to be those with a significant percentage of their revenue derived from a single ETM commodity.
There are risks associated with an investment in XMET, including market risk, international investment risk, commodity price and ETM company related risks, and concentration risk. Investment value can go up and down. An investment in the Fund should only be considered as a part of a broader portfolio, taking into account your particular circumstances, including your tolerance for risk. For more information on risks and other features of the Fund, please see the Product Disclosure Statement and Target Market Determination, both available on this website.

Past performance is not an indicator of future performance. Returns are calculated in Australian dollars using net asset value per unit at the start and end of the specified period and do not reflect brokerage or the bid ask spread that investors incur when buying and selling units on the ASX. Returns are after fund management costs, assume reinvestment of any distributions and do not take into account tax paid as an investor in the Fund. Returns for periods longer than one year are annualised. Current performance may be higher or lower than the performance shown.
